Apogenix – APG101

ANIMA RES produziert für Apogenix eine 6-minütige Mode of Action 3D Animation zur Wirkweise von APG101. Dieser weit fortgeschrittene Wirkstoffkandidat zur Behandlung von soliden Tumoren und malignen hämato-logischen Erkrankungen ist ein vollständig humanes Fusionsprotein, das aus der extrazellulären Domäne des CD95-Rezeptors und dem Fc-Teil eines lgG-Antikörpers besteht. APG101 befindet sich in der klinischen Prüfung zur Behandlung des Gliobastoms sowie zur Behandlung des myelodysplastischen Syndroms (MDS).

Hauptaugenmerk der Mode of Action Animation gilt der Interaktion des CD95-Liganden mit dem CD95-Rezeptor, welche je nach Zielzelle (Immunzelle oder Tumorzelle), den apoptotischen Zelltod oder das invasive Zellwachs-
tum auslöst. Der Wirkstoff APG101 hat somit einen dualen Wirkmechanismus.
