What a fantastic premiere for our #InsightProstate app, a joint project of #ANIMARES and @bayerofficial, which was presented for the first time on #HoloLens2 at #EAU2024 in Paris.

This groundbreaking app is designed to address prostate cancer and for shared decision making in #ProstateCancerCare.

The response from attending physicians was overwhelmingly positive. They were not only impressed by the immersive experience offered by the app on the HoloLens but also delighted to learn that they can utilize it seamlessly on iPads during patient consultations. Moreover, the ability for patients to access the app for free on their iOS or Android devices was met with enthusiasm.

This milestone marks a significant advancement in healthcare technology, empowering both medical professionals and patients in the fight against prostate cancer. We’re thrilled to continue driving innovation in this crucial field and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

INSIGHT PROSTATE was developed to make prostate cancer easier to understand, from the anatomy of the prostate and the disease itself to the diagnostic methods and treatment options. It is intended to support doctor-patient interaction and contribute to improved cooperation in the healthcare sector. Developed with Prof. Axel Merseburger, Clinic Director for Urology at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein and Priv. Doz. Dr. med. Carsten Ziske, Chief Physician Internal Medicine, at the GFO Kliniken Troisdorf (St. Josef und St. Johannes).
