Expedition Heart – ANIMA RES launches first „HOLO“ heart

Today in mixed reality we are able to let whales swim across your room or start the Millennium Falcon from the kitchen table. ANIMA RES, a highly specialized production company for medical visualization, has committed itself to awaken our fascination for the human body.

It’s almost done – the first holographic heart will start beating in a few days, enriching the Microsoft Store with a new HoloLens App. INSIGHT HEART is the first app of a planned series for the medical education of the future.

Within INSIGHT HEART a virtual companion called „ANI“ guides you through the functions of the heart with her voice. You control the heart by gesture or voice control – as expected for one of the most innovative interfaces.

You can zoom, rotate and scale a high-resolution heart hologram right in front of you and further experience the heartbeat in real time in a fascinating and immersive way. Incredibly impressive visual effects of myocardial infarction, arterial hypertension and atrial fibrillation enrich the experience and take medical education to the next level.
